All Rise Season 3: All You Need To Know

All Rise

All Rise is a show that we have not heard of in quite some time now. The courtroom drama from CBS was initially well-received but failed to garner enough oomph for CBS to consider it one of its successful ones. The show was consequently canceled on the network and went on to become one of the many that CBS canceled. I was personally not such a huge fan of the show, but I have to say that it was a nice one nonetheless. It had all the elements of a good drama show. But perhaps it did not get the start it needed or the outreach that its premise demanded. Whatever the case might be, it was saddening to see the show being taken off the air after two seasons. And now, we have reports of All Rise Season 3. Read on to find out all you need to know.

All Rise Season 3: About The Show

All Rise is a drama show that follows the concept of any other regular courtroom drama. It is centered around the star of the show, Judge Lola Carmichael, who is played by Simone Missick. The show follows a group of judges, prosecutors, and lawyers, who are looking out for their own purpose. And that is really the central premise of the show, as Lola deals with new cases that come her way every episode. The show, in its nature, is quite an interesting one and will have you entertained throughout. I personally really liked the way it portrayed court scenes accurately and with all due diligence. That really made the show stand out from the others.

Prior to its cancelation, the show was also praised for handling big social and societal issues with a lot of consideration and sensitivity. The show also handled issues like the COVID pandemic and the Black Lives Matter movement with a lot of sensibility and sensitivity. Which really shows you the potential that the show had.

All Rise Season 3: Renewal

Now, have no doubt. All Rise Season 3 has indeed been canceled by CBS. Because they didn’t value the show enough to continue it further. But this was seen by the network OWN, and the folks over there decided to pick up the show and produce it further. So from now, All Rise is going to be shown on the OWN network. The network has renewed the show for a third season and is going to bring a new depth to Lola’s story.

“I am absolutely thrilled that Tina Perry, Ms. Winfrey, and the rest of the OWN family have extended us the grace to continue telling impactful stories on their network,” Dee Harris-Lawrence said.

In their official statement, OWN has announced that they are going to release All Rise Season 3 sometime in 2022. That’s not so far now that 2021 is at an end. So we can wait for it.
