What Is the Plotline of the Movie Outside the Wire?
The film is set in the year 2036 when Eastern Europe is indulged in a civil war. The American troops serve as peacekeepers in the lawless frontier between Ukraine and Russia. The drone operator Lieutenant Harp disobeys a direct order of taking out a deadly truck. He protects and saves three dozen soldiers, and two fighting men perish.
A bad environment is felt all around. He rejoins the training but is on a secret mission, working with Captain Leo. Leo is the same as Harp, black and cusses a bit. However, he is different from Harp as he is a cyborg. Leo is fourth-generation biotech.

Their main mission is to stop a warlord named Victor Koval who wishes to add Ukraine to Russia. Victor increases his military to obtain the codes for the nukes located in the deserted nuclear areas that were built at the time of the Cold War. Leo, the android military officer, chooses a drone pilot, Harp, who got famous for killing two marine officers in a warzone. He did so by going against the orders of his seniors.
Harp is sent on the mission by the department to learn the values of collateral from Leo, but his way of learning was different and difficult to imagine. Harp was sent to Leo as a punishment for disobeying the orders. Harp and Leo go on a mission of preventing Victor to take control of the network.
They go there under the cover of delivering vaccines to a refugee camp. On their way, they respond to an attack on an aid truck. They take a stand between the marines and armed locals. For negotiation, Captain Leo provides the contents of the aid truck to the locals to maintain peace. However, the insurgents attack the locals and Marines. Thus, Leo and Harp cover the distance on foot, whereas Marines engage the insurgents.
After reaching the refugee camp, an insurgent shoots Leo and Harp. He also killed some of them, civilians. Leo interrogates him and leaves him in the hands of the mob. There, they meet a resistance leader Sofiya who takes them to the arms dealer. The Arms dealer knew about the codes for which Victor was looking. After some fight with Victor’s soldiers, Leo retrieves the codes but cannot find Victor.
A drone then strikes the location, due to which the military forces assume Leo to be destroyed and Victor to be dead. However, Harp reunites with Leo later on.
