The Forever Purge: What You Should Know
There’s a lot that you need to know about The Forever Purge. Because this is a very different film from the ones that came before it. It doesn’t take place in a big city or anything like that. Instead, it takes us to the Mexico border, right by Texas. This is dangerous territory, and nothing like we have ever seen before. The franchise takes a lot of steps in this different direction, and we are all the more grateful for it. It brings a fresh breath of air to the franchise that it has been wanting for quite some time now. The previous films in the franchise were a bit underwhelming, but the Forever Purge is nothing like them. While it is not an A lister movie by any sense, it still manages to come across as one of the best B movies.
There’s a lot to appreciate about The Forever Purge. It’s dark, it’s scary, and you never know what sort of spectacle you might be in for. And we love that sort of thing. It is the guilty pleasure of every horror fan, and the film does not hold back. The Ever After Purge concept is amazing, and fits the film perfectly. It does exactly what it needs to, and makes the plot that much more interesting. In fact, this Purge movie is also different in the sense that it openly calls out the Purge as racist. No movie in the franchise has ever been this vocal about the racism. But The Forever Purge does not hold back here either. It makes the most of what it can, and calls the racists out for it. It’s really interesting how things play out in this sense.
The Forever Purge: Verdict
In the end, you’re either going to love the purge or you’re not. Some of you might even hate the film for its racist and nazi elements, but the film does not try to hide any of it. In fact, that is what the film makes its money off of. So it makes sense for you to watch the Forever Purge only if you’re comfortable with the concept and actually want to watch it. You need to know what you’re getting into, as it is not everyone’s cup of tea. So if you’re a fan of violent horrors, go for it. Blindly. But if you’re not, you may want to reconsider if you really want to watch this movie.
