The release of Two Point Campus, Two Point Studio’s wacky management simulator, has been postponed. The game was supposed to be released in just a few weeks in May, but it has now been pushed back a few months into August.
Due to its goal of releasing all versions of the game optimized for every platform, Two Point Studios has stated that its planned school sim would be delayed. Set your school calendars for August 9, 2022, when Two Point Campus will be released.
The Two Point Series of games allows players to take on the role of administrator for a variety of institutions in Two Point County. Prior to this, players had to figure out the best approach to construct and manage awards in Two Point Hospital. This time, the focus has shifted to a college or university that is dedicated to providing the greatest quality courses, ranging from Knight School to Gastronomy.
“Our objective from the start has been to release Two Point Campus across all PC and console platforms simultaneously to the quality and standard that our community expects from us,” writes Mark Webley, game director at Two Point Studios, in a press release announcing the delay.
This means we’ll need a little extra time with Two Point Campus to ensure we produce the greatest game possible, one that can be enjoyed across all platforms equally. We’ll spend the extra three months to fine-tune Two Point Campus for all platforms, so it’ll be ready just in time for the start of the next school year!”
Two Point Hospital was first launched on PC and other computer platforms in 2018, and the console versions were released two years later in 2020 by Two Point Studios.
It’s bad we’ll have to wait a little longer to educate students about Scientography (yes, Scientography, it’s the new science), but based on my experience with the preview build, the wait will be well worth it.
